Snapchat Unveils AI Video Tool: Text to Video Creation!
Snapchat has introduced a new AI video-generation tool for select creators, allowing video creation from text and soon from image prompts. Powered by Snap's advanced video models, the tool will be available in beta on the web. Aiming to rival OpenAI and Adobe, Snap has yet to reveal examples of its AI-generated video outputs.

Apple’s AI-Powered Betas: Text Rewriting & Photo Cleanup!
Apple has launched public betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, introducing new Apple Intelligence tools like text rewriting and photo cleanup. These AI features are available only on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and M1-powered iPads and Macs. The final releases are expected in October.

Cruise Resumes Mapping, Eyes 2025 Robotaxi Rollout!
Cruise is restarting operations in Sunnyvale and Mountain View with human-driven cars for mapping, aiming to begin supervised AV testing later this fall. After an October 2023 crash and leadership changes, Cruise implemented software updates and partnered with Uber for robotaxi services, set to launch in 2025.
